Division Descriptions

Tball is for league ages 5 and 6 (cost $90). The goal for Tball is for a player to experience a game that is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals.  Players hit off of a 't' and play at least 2 games a week (once during the week day and once on a Saturday).

AA is for league ages 6 (with one year of verified Tball), 7 and 8 (cost $110).  This program focuses on the fundamentals of baseball, and is designed to build a solid foundation for becoming a successful ballplayer, including the “emotional fuel tank”.  A pitching machine is used at this level for consistent ball delivery allowing manager and coaches to work on form and confidence.

AAA is for league ages 8-11 (cost $130). This program continues to focus on the fundamentals of baseball.  For the 2019 season, the first 2 weeks of games will use the pitching machine with the rest of the season, it is player pitch.  For a player to be at this division, the player attends an evaluation (2 Saturday's are scheduled - player must attend one) and then is drafted onto a team for the upcoming season.  At the end of the season, the player is released from the team and will attend an evaluation in the next season (to be drafted and play). Players at this level are eligible for Tournament teams following regular season play.  Information will be available in late May concerning Tournament Team selection process.

Majors is for league ages 9-12 (cost $130).  Once a player is drafted to a major team, he/she typically remains with the team for the remainder of the years that they are eligible to play at this division.  Current drafted players do not attend evaluations.  New players to this division must attend 1 of 2 evaluation days to be drafted. Players at this level are eligible for Tournament teams following regular season play.  Information will be available in late May concerning Tournament Team selection process

Juniors is for league ages 13-14* (cost $130).  Players at this level play on a 90 foot diamond.  Once a player is drafted to a junior team, they remain with that team at this division.  A player new to this division does attend 1 day of evaluations (there are 2 days held). Players at this level are eligible for Tournament teams following regular season play.  Information will be available in late May concerning Tournament Team selection process.

Seniors is for league ages 13-16*(cost $130).  Players at this level play on a 90 foot diamond.  Once a player is drafted to a senior team, they remain with that team at this division.  A player new to this division does attend 1 day of evaluations (there are 2 days held). Players at this level are eligible for Tournament teams following regular season play.  Information will be available in late May concerning Tournament Team selection process.

Challengers:  If you have a player that desires to play in Little League's Challenger Division, please contact the District 7 Representative:  Jalynn Miller @ 503-428-2680 or email at [email protected].

*Depending on numbers, the league will decide if there are enough players and for what division of play at the Junior and Senior level.  If numbers are small, there is a chance that Parrish will combine with another league (up to 3 leagues total) for team formation.  The League won't know the need until after registration is closed.

Please contact the Player Agent for additional information or questions.
